As we embark on our strategic planning journey, I'm filled with excitement and gratitude for our incredible school community. The strength of BT lies in the diverse perspectives, experiences, and insights that each of you brings to BT. Whether you're a long-time BT family or relatively new to our school, your voice is invaluable. By actively engaging in our strategic planning process, you're not just helping to design our collective future – you're reinforcing the collaborative spirit that makes BT so special.
Earlier this week, education leadership consultant Ted Fish conducted a series of productive focus group sessions. During Monday’s in-service day, Dr. Fish met with all faculty and staff. On Tuesday and Wednesday, he had the opportunity to facilitate discussions with a group of Upper School students, three groups of parents, trustees, and our Administrative Team.
The information gathered during these sessions will be instrumental in creating a comprehensive survey that will be distributed to all BT community members in November. Our goal is to achieve 100% participation in the upcoming survey. Your input is vital to ensure we have a thorough understanding of the current state of BT and opportunities for future growth.
We believe that with full community engagement, we can shape the best path forward for our school. Your insights, ideas, and even concerns will help us create a strategic plan that is both ambitious and true to the BT spirit.
