Earlier this month I had the opportunity to participate in a meaningful celebration of our faculty and staff and their deep commitment to Brownell Talbot. BT faculty and staff team reached 100% participation in The BT Fund and raised a record $33,000 for BT and its students. Please join me in thanking every member of our team for their generosity!
BT’s strategic plan has three pillars of focus with #3 being a Culture of Philanthropy and Sustainability: A sound plan for ensuring the next 150 years of BT. The BT Fund is our school’s annual fundraising campaign and a critical component of that culture. The BT Fund exists to fund the difference between the cost to educate a student and the cost of tuition. On average that difference is $3,500 per student.
Beginning next week, every BT family will receive a personal invitation from me to join our school’s incredible culture of philanthropy by making a tax-deductible gift to The BT Fund. The goal for The BT Fund is 100% participation in 100 school days. As we embark on this journey you will hear from myself, members of our school team, and your fellow BT Fund Division Chairs as we work together to reach our goals. Along the way we will celebrate participation milestones with in-classroom activities, out-of-uniform days, and more.
If you have questions about The BT Fund, how it connects to our strategic plan, or how your gift impacts the BT experience, please connect with Vice President of Advancement Shannon Gilroy or myself.
One school. One goal. 100%.
