Dear BT Community,
Over the past two weeks I have shared a lot of exciting information with you, and I feel the excitement building for our campus transformation project! The overall timeline for Building Together is just under two years in total:
- June 2024 - Lower School demolition
- August 2024 - Construction begins
- Spring 2026 - Anticipated completion
As we prepare for campus to look different next school year, we have made a few adjustments to our calendar:
- The first day of school for the 2024-2025 school year is a week later to accommodate the start of construction.
- To ensure we are able to offer the same hours of instruction, we will return to a three-day Thanksgiving break next school year.
- The first day of school for Middle and Upper School will be Wednesday, August 21.
- The first day of school for Lower School will be Thursday, August 22. We have given Lower School teachers an extra day to prepare for the start of the new year in their new spaces.

It is my goal to keep BT families informed throughout the Building Together project and to provide opportunities to learn more and engage in the planning process. To that end, I will be offering office hours to families interested in discussing the project in more detail.
Office Hours
- Tuesdays from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm
- Wednesdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
