Dear BT Community,
It was such a delight to have students back on campus today to kick off second semester! I hope that the enthusiasm and energy they had for seeing friends and reconnecting with teachers will be carried forward in their learning through the second half of this school year.
This is a pivotal midpoint in the year when we witness conceptual knowledge transform into practiced understanding, sparks of interest turn into passions, and new confidence emerges through overcoming perceived limits. The learning foundations built during the first half of the year will propel our students forward, challenging them to be better tomorrow than they are today.
Parent involvement through The BT Fund accelerates this transformation. With The BT Fund’s 100% Participation in 100 Days Challenge concluding January 12, please consider participating at a level meaningful for your family. When we all contribute to the experiences that shape our children, the positive impact grows exponentially.
Finally, we begin the new year with some exciting, transformational campus news, which we look forward to sharing at a special State of the School event on January 24 at 6:30 pm. Please save the date! An email invitation will follow within the next week.
I thank you wholeheartedly for being our partners in nurturing these transformations, and I look forward to the many student success stories this semester will hold!
Sincerely,
Kristi N. Gibbs, Ed.D.
