Upper School

On Monday, October 23, Mrs. Straka's Upper School American History class attended the Nebraska Ambassador Forum hosted at UNMC. This exceptional event opened the doors to a world of diplomacy and sustainable development for our students. The distinguished panel featured Ambassador Ronald E. Neumann, renowned for his service in Algeria, Bahrain, and Afghanistan, as well as Ambassador Dawn M. Liberi, who had represented the U.S. in Burundi. Ambassador J. Peter Pham, former U.S. Special Envoy for the Sahel Region of Africa, and The Honorable Alonzo L. Fulgham, who served as Acting Administrator of USAID, shared their profound insights.

Our students had the unique opportunity to learn from these experienced diplomats and development experts, gaining valuable perspectives on international relations, policy, public-private partnerships, and the impact of foreign aid. It was a morning brimming with learning and inspiration, as our students explored the intricacies of global affairs.
