This weekend's Fifth Annual Speedo 14 & Under Speedo Winter Classic concluded with a thrilling display of talent and determination as the Raiders secured the Combined team title. The competition showcased exceptional swimming performances, culminating in a tightly contested battle that was ultimately decided by the 200 IM, the final event of the meet. The Raider coaches commended the entire team for their outstanding effort throughout the weekend, expressing immense pride in their achievements.
The top three teams in the Combined team scores were Brownell Talbot, who clinched 1st place with 2977 points, followed closely by Greater Omaha Aquatics in 2nd place with 2923.50 points, and Millard Aquatic Club in 3rd place with 894 points. In the Boys team category, Greater Omaha Aquatics secured 1st place with 1521 points, while Brownell Talbot claimed 2nd place with 1242 points, and Millard Aquatic Club finished 3rd with 387 points. For the Girls teams, Brownell Talbot took the first with 1479 points, followed by Greater Omaha Aquatics in 2nd place with 1122.50 points, and Sarpy County in 3rd place with 487 points.
The Raiders celebrated several outstanding individual performances, with the following swimmers earning top 3 High point scorers in their age groups:
8 & Under Girls: Violet Osterloh - 1st place
8 & Under Boys: Michael Levell, '34 - 1st place
9-10 Girls: Mia Schergin, '31 - 1st place, Sadie Levell, '32 - 2nd place, Olivia Bradford, '31 - 3rd place
10 & Under Boys: James Reed, '32 - 1st place, Royce Li, '32 - 2nd place, Barrett Holm, '32 - 3rd place
11-12 Girls: Isla Lecci - 2nd place
13-14 Girls: Kaylee Zhang, '29 - 1st place
