For all returning swim team members with an escrow swim meet account, rest assured that you will receive a full refund of your escrow money remaining. We appreciate your patience as our business office works diligently to return all remaining meet escrow fees to you as soon as possible.
Every athlete must be registered with USA Swimming. Registration for 2025 will open on September 1, 2024. It is crucial that you complete the registration promptly once you receive the link to ensure that your athletes can participate in practice.
Please take note that we are a USA Swimming Team and not a learn-to-swim program. All athletes must demonstrate the ability to swim 25 yards of Freestyle unassisted, 25 yards of Backstroke, and float on their back for 20-30 seconds unassisted. Our coaches will focus on teaching stroke technique and teaching all other strokes, starts, and turns. If you have any concerns about your child's readiness for the swim team, please schedule a swim test with Coach Jeff Nelson at [email protected].
Swim Meets: Participation in swim meets is an integral part of the team experience. Swimmers are expected to compete in all home meets once the coach determines they are ready. While participation in away meets is strongly encouraged, it is not mandatory. For end-of-season championship meets, all swimmers will need to compete at the highest-level championship meet they qualify for.
Please be aware that we have limited training space with only 6 lanes. If it is observed that your athlete is not actively participating in swim meets, we may kindly request that you not return for the following season to accommodate athletes who are eager to compete in meets for the Raiders.
