BT students Julea Che, '34, and Krisha Sharma, '34, participated in the Acton Academy and Prairie STEM's Children's Business Fair on Sunday, April 21. To participate, students develop a brand, create a product or service, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at the one-day marketplace.
This was Julea's third time participating in the fair selling her banana bread. BT alum April (Kirkpatrick) Seaman, '70, was shopping at the market and was excited to support a fellow Raider's business!
It was Krisha's first time at the fair. She sold her unique product of cream puris, a twist on the popular Indian street food pani puri!
Congratulations to both students on their successful day of sales and learning!
