Raiders Swim Team Dominates King and Queen Distance Challenge

In a remarkable showcase of skill and distance mastery, the Raiders Swimming Team emerged victorious at the King & Queen Distance Challenge, rewriting the record books and securing multiple triumphs. The Raider girls showcased their prowess by claiming the team title with a commanding 147 points, outperforming their closest rival, GOAL, by a significant margin. Similarly, the boys asserted their dominance with 171 points, leaving Fremont trailing with 39 points, ultimately securing the team title. The Raiders further solidified their dominance by clinching the combined team title with an impressive 318 points, overshadowing GOAL's 100 points.

The exceptional performance extended to individual achievements, with seven Raiders earning crowns at the event. Mia Schergin, '31, Kaylee Zhang, '29, Michael Levell, '34, and James Reed, '32, claimed victories in their respective categories. Adding to the triumph, Mia set a new meet record in the  9-10 Girls 1000 Free and James set a meet record in the 9-10 Boys 1000 Free. The King & Queen Distance Challenge undoubtedly served as a stepping stone for the end of the season Championships, setting the stage for continued success for the Raiders.
