Raiders Swim and Dive Team Shows Strong Performance in Recent Tri-Meet

The Raiders swim team showcased their talent and determination in a thrilling tri-meet on Tuesday afternoon. Both the girls and boys teams demonstrated their skills, securing victories and putting on an impressive display of sportsmanship.

In the girls' competition, the team secured a resounding victory against Westview with a score of 60 to 27. They then engaged in a closely contested battle against Omaha South, ultimately falling with a score of 77 to 60. The boys team also split their matches, triumphing over Westview with a score of 41 to 33 and facing a tough defeat against Omaha South with a score of 71 to 41. Notably, the boys team accomplished this impressive feat with only 4 competitors.

The Raiders claimed victory in 13 out of 22 events. Ingrid Nelson, '25, won the 50 Free and 100 Breast.

Looking ahead, the Raiders are gearing up for the Elkhorn Invite. Diving events will take place at the Common Ground Aquatic Complex on Friday, December 15, with a start time of 4:00 pm, while the swimming competition will commence on Saturday, December 16, with the girls' events starting at 8:30 am and the boys' events at 2:30 pm.
