Last week BT's Middle and Upper School robotics teams competed at the CREATE US Open in Council Bluffs, IA.

Upper School Results

1028Z was selected to the 12th seed but unfortunately lost to the division champions. 1028Z had a tough schedule, but they gained valuable experience at this large tournament.

1028A took a very new robot to this tournament and it competed very well with only a few minor modifications. They came away with the Amaze Award! They ended as the 3rd seeded team in the Orange Division and were selected to form the 1st seed. They played great competition and came out on top!

Middle School

1028T lead all BT teams with a 15th place finish out of 134 teams in the skills portion.

In the Orange Division 1028J was the captain of the 12th seed alliance but lost in the first round.

1028G and 1028Y competed in the Red Division where G was picked by the 15th seed and Y was the 5th seed alliance captain. G lost in the 1st round and Y lost in the semifinals. 1028Y was awarded the Think Award!

1028T had a fantastic tournament. They were the 1st seed in the Blue alliance and was the highest one seed. They sadly lost in the division finals as they got stuck in the net. While that loss was heartbreaking, they capped the night off with the highest award in VEX, the Excellence Award!

Robotics will spend the next several weeks preparing for the VEX World Championships in April in Dallas, TX!
