Schergin, Reed, and Li Top Scorers for Midwestern Swimming 12 & Unders All-Stars

Brownell Talbot Aquatic Club's Mia Schergin, '31, James Reed, '32, and Royce Li, '32, were the top point scorers for Midwestern Swimming in the 12 & Under age group at the Central Zone Championships in early August.

Mia contributed to the MWS All-Star 200-M Medley Relay Team's 9th place finish. In her individual events, she secured 10th place in the 200-M IM, 19th place in the 100-m Backstroke, and 10th place in the 100-M Breaststroke. Mia accumulated 29 points and was the highest-scoring girl in the 10 & Under age group for MWS.

James was the top point scorer for Midwestern Swimming All-Stars in the 10 & Under Boys category.

Royce secured 12th place in the 10 & Under Boys 200-M IM, 16th place in the 200-M Freestyle, and 17th place in the 100-M Breaststroke. Royce accumulated the second highest number of points for Midwestern Swimming All-Stars in the 10 & Under Boys category.

The Central Zone Championships featured various All-Stars representing different regions, including Arkansas, Midwestern Swimming, Missouri Valley, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Ozark.
