We are excited to welcome you back to Brownell Talbot for the 2024-2025 school year! The online bookstore through Order your textbooks as soon as possible to ensure the materials arrive before school starts. Timely ordering is essential to ensure books are here on time for the start of school.

Please note, students have been enrolled in their requested courses, allowing them to purchase their books. However, student schedules are still being finalized. Class schedules will be communicated later in July. Textbooks will not be affected by any changes to the schedule, unless a class is added or dropped. Although schedules are visible in Veracross, we are still shifting students between sections to ensure classroom balance as much as possible. Again, textbook orders are not affected by section changes.

How to Order Textbooks

Newly enrolled families: student credentials for your child have been mailed to your home address. If you have not received yours, you can can contact the main office at 402.556.3772 (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm) to obtain this information.

The following steps will need to be repeated for each of your children:

  • Log into the Veracross portal using your child’s BT student credentials. If you require assistance with your student’s Veracross credentials, please call the school office at 402.556.3772.
  • Click on the yellow “Click here to purchase your textbooks for the 2024-2025 School Year” link.
  • Double check any textbooks you kept from last year - sometimes textbooks are used two years in a row.
  • Click on “New Order” to begin the process.
  • Follow the directions on the site. The site will automatically show the assigned books under each course your child is enrolled in. Note that some courses do not require textbooks, and some courses require multiple texts.
  • Double check your mailing address and be sure to deliver books to your home address.
  • If you choose the e-textbook (online textbook) option (not available for all courses), you will receive an email detailing how to access the e-textbook in August when digital orders are released.
  • IMPORTANT: If you are ordering textbooks for multiple students, please be sure to “Log Out’ from the bookstore website before proceeding with your next student’s textbook order.
  • Repeat these steps for each of your children.

Should you have any questions about the ordering process, System Administrator Ed Krueger ([email protected]) is available to help you.
