Arbor Family Counseling has therapists on campus on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Middle and Upper School students can make appointments that conveniently take place during the school day (utilizing their flex, study halls, and free periods, if possible) to meet with an Arbor Family therapist. If a Lower School parent/guardian would like their student to connect with an Arbor Family therapist, please contact Katie Tessin, Lower School counselor; she will facilitate the appointment sign up at a time that works best for the student's schedule.
Families may choose to opt children out of this service by completing the opt-out form.
Registration as a student of Brownell Talbot provides students mental health support from Arbor Family Counseling. Arbor Family Counseling of Omaha is permitted to conduct counseling or psychological services on-site at the school, if and when such services are requested by the student during the academic school year. The service consists of well-check, consultation, counseling, or assessment and is provided free of charge to students and their families while the service occurs on the Brownell Talbot campus. If a student’s case needs any further treatment a referral may be provided. Students may initiate counseling through Brownell Talbot and Arbor Family Counseling. Consent to treatment may be revoked by the parent/guardian at any time by completing the form below.
