Each event starts at 8:00 am on Brownell Talbot's campus. All visitors should enter through the main office and sign in first.
October 1 Building Resilience in Children
Most helpful for parents of children ages 0-10 years
Strategies for helping children develop resilience, cope with challenges, and develop a positive mindset in the early years.
November 5 Navigating Tricky Topics
Most helpful for parents of children ages 10-18 years
Feel prepared to support your child's understanding of complex social issues and recognize the right moments to initiate these important talks.
December 3 The Science of Motivation
Most helpful for parents of children ages 0-10 years
Recognize and understand the interplay between intrinsic and extrinsic rewards and learn how to balance approaches to best support your child.
More About Dr. Crystal Vaught
Dr. Vaught is a school administrator who embraces diversity, social justice, and project-based and design thinking learning. She has intercultural teaching and leading experience working in Asia, Europe, South America, and the United States. She is also an adjunct faculty member for Endicott College, having spent time this summer in Madrid, Spain, teaching courses for the master's degree program in international education.
Dr. Vaught has a Doctor of Education from University of Minnesota, master's degrees in school administration and English language and literature, and certificates from the Klingenstein Institute, Stanford University's EdLEADers Program, and California Teacher's Development Collaborative.
